Drop In Centers and Club Groups

CCI offers Drop-In and Outreach services weekly at each of the Greenwich family housing units: Adams Garden, Armstrong Court, and Wilbur Peck Court. During these sessions in the Family Rooms, CCI staff meet with parents and/or children to discuss any pressing issues, answer questions, or just to talk. Staff also help with homework, crafts, games, other activities, and computer labs.

CCI’s Youth Club Groups are small, intimate groups that provide therapeutic, recreational and educational activities.  These groups meet weekly, and offer a safe place for kids to be themselves and to develop relationships with their peers as well as with trustworthy adults.  During youth group, children can talk to CCI staff about what’s going on at home, at school, with parents, or with other relationships and work through any problems.  CCI’s goal is to expose the kids to the larger community and provide them with new and different experiences.

CCI’s groups include: Reading Group, Boys & Girls Group, Middle School Group, and High School Group (What’s Next Program).  Each includes children in 1st – 12th grades. CCI also provide transportation to and from the weekly group sessions.
