Greenwich, Connecticut – January 2, 2015
Community Centers, Inc. (CCI) is planning a Spring Fashion Show and Luncheon on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at l’escale restaurant in Greenwich, Connecticut with renowned red carpet fashion designer and former Design and Creative Director of Halston, Kevan Hall.
Mr. Hall will be showcasing his Spring 2015 Kevan Hall Sport line along with selections from his Signature Collection.
Carol Memishian, President of the Board of Directors of CCI, said they are honored to have Kevan Hall showcase his Sport line – bringing his incomparable tailoring and sophisticated elegance to golf wear. “In addition to being a renowned fashion designer, Mr. Hall has given lectures throughout the world and has made guest appearances on many national TV shows. We are delighted to have him speak about the latest in fashion design and show his extraordinary collections.”
Detroit-born Kevan Hall’s fashion creativity emerged early. By the age of seven, he knew he wanted to be a fashion designer. Mr. Hall stepped into the prestigious position of Design and Creative Director of Halston from Fall 1998 to Spring 2000, reviving the dormant brand to its former glory.
Mr. Hall launched his own Kevan Hall Signature Collection in 2002 with a fashion philosophy that emphasizes purity of style, incomparable tailoring and sensuously draped streamlined silhouettes. In 2002, Mr. Hall won the “Designer of the Year” award at the 47th Annual Gold Coast Fashion Awards. In 2005, Mr. Hall was awarded “Stylemaker of the Year” by Life & Style Magazine.
Spring 2011 marked the launch of Mr. Hall’s premiere bridal collection, Kevan Hall White Label.
In 2013 Mr. Hall launched Kevan Hall INSPIRATION, a collection of dresses and separates for QVC UK and HSE24 Italia.
Kevan Hall Sport was launched in 2014 with an active lifestyle brand of golf wear for women that transitions effortlessly from the fairway to the clubhouse.
Vanessa Williams, Virginia Madsen, Katherine Heigl, Debra Messing, Edie Falco, Gabourey Sidibe, Felicity Huffman and Kate Mulgrew have all worn Mr. Hall’s designs on the red carpet.
